Excel Temporary Service is looking for a new Quality Engineer. This is a dayshift position that will work closely with management and production floor operators.
The candidate must have the following experience for this position.
Day shift 6:00am-2:30pm
Job located in St. Peter's.
CMM experience.
GD&T experience.
ISO 9001 2015.
First article inspections.
PPAP, DPAR & Capability studies.
Management review meetings.
Internal and external audits.
Six-Sigma & LEAN mfg.
Machine shop.
High production atmosphere.
Leadership.
CAR/ RMA/ containment.
External and internal quality management.
• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
• Devise and review specifications for products or processes
• Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
• Supervise operators and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
• Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
• Document, Approve and or Reject In-Process, First Article and Final inspections per customer requirements
• Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
• Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
• Arrange and conduct internal audits and external audits as the management representative
• Record non-conforming and customer complaints and relay this information to the production team
• Able to positively influence others

• In depth understanding of quality control procedures per the ISO 9001 standard
• Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
If the candidate has all the required experience and knowledge the salary is 85k+ annually. If they are missing some of the listed indicators then the salary will go down as additional help will be required to complete all required tasks.
