Marketing Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. The Marketing Specialist will implement and analyze robust marketing plans both at the corporate and local level. Using their meticulous organizational skills, the specialist will make recommendations for new marketing initiatives and share results with leadership. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the brand internally and externally with an emphasis on maximizing exposure, brand recognition and sales growth
• Work closely with local leadership to develop branch and regional marking plans, with the focus of driving measurable growth at the local level
• Create and manage a comprehensive vendor joint marketing calendar and ensure all initiatives are rolled out effectively and timely
• Assist with COOP management, tracking and collection
• Work with marketing, purchasing, sales, vendor partners, and digital teams to execute quarterly company promotions to maximize awareness and generate incremental business
• Run and analyze reports to boost sales of specific product groups
• Assist in digital and traditional marketing campaigns across a diverse footprint
• Develop and foster relationships with strategic vendor partners
• Track, analyze and share marketing results with branch senior leaders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a marketing specialist or similar role
• Experience in electrical distribution preferred but not required
• Exceptional communication and writing skills
• Meticulously organized

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Creativity and ability to improvise is a must. General computer skills are required, particularly in spreadsheets, data bases, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
