Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
Duties:
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse or distribution center
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating forklifts
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution center
- Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts such as clamp trucks and order pickers
- Knowledge of materials handling and warehouse management practices
- Ability to perform equipment repairs and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with heavy equipment operation
- Strong order picking skills
- Ability to repair and maintain equipment
