Excel is hiring for a Maintenance Machinist in St. Louis, MO.
Mon-Thurs 6am-3:30pm Fridays 6am-10am. Overtime Optional.
MUST supply own hand tools & Toolbox.
MUST have Pump and gear Box repair experience.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to produce precision parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Program machines using CAM software
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of parts
- Perform assembly and inspection of finished products
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machinist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and CAM programming
- Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges
- Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
