Overview:
Join our team as a Manual Machinist where you will be instrumental in fabricating precision parts using manual machining techniques. We are seeking a skilled individual proficient in working with various materials and tools to produce top-quality components for our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate parts as per specifications
- Utilize hand tools and power tools proficiently for shaping, cutting, and finishing materials
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
- Perform CAM programming for machining operations
- Conduct maintenance and calibration of machinery to ensure optimal functionality
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance manufacturing processes
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards during machining procedures
Experience:
- Proven track record as a Manual Machinist or in a similar role
- Familiarity with Mazatrol programming is advantageous
- Competency in using Bore gauges, Power tools, Tooling, and GD&T
- Experience in plastics injection molding techniques is preferred
- Ability to assemble and fabricate components accurately
- Proficiency in basic math for precise measurements
