About the Role
Excel Temporary Service is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our client’s team in O'Fallon, MO. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity designed to evaluate the need for a long-term addition to their growing finance department.
Key Responsibilities
Full-cycle Accounts Payable: invoice matching, data entry, coding, and filing
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile discrepancies
Resolve invoice and receipt issues with vendors and internal teams
Assist the Controller with month-end closings and special projects
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (IQMS is a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (preferred, not required)
