NOW HIRING: MAINTENANCE / MACHINIST
Location: Union, MO
Company: Excel Temporary Service
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Starting Pay: $21/hour
Excel Temporary Service is seeking a skilled Maintenance/Machinist to join a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with machinery repair, preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic electrical work.
Responsibilities
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools, then reassemble equipment
Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluid levels, and filters; follow maintenance checklists
Use a wide range of tools including precision measuring instruments, electrical/electronic testing devices, and hand/power tools
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints, manuals, and parts catalogs
Inspect, operate, and test machinery to identify malfunctions
Clean and lubricate machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears
Dismantle devices using hoists, forklifts, hand tools, and power tools
Plan and lay out repair projects using diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Submit part orders and repair reports accurately and efficiently
Adjust functional parts of devices using metering equipment and hand tools
Operate cutting torches and welding equipment as needed
