Shipping Administrator is responsible for processing and coordinating shipment requests and assist of any documentation needed to complete the shipments. Provide customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner.
As the Shipping Administrator, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and efficient coordination of all orders being shipped from the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Check in truck drivers, match pick up number to order number, and assign the appropriate dock.As the Shipping Administrator, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and efficient coordination of all orders being shipped from the warehouse.
- Create master bill of lading and print shipping, FedEx, UPS labels, and pick tickets.
- Maintain status of orders on Open Dock, scan and mark orders as shipped once loads are completed.
- Assign loads to forklift operators and ensure they are loaded within the two-hour time frame.
- Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor on shipping related issues and correct shipping errors.
- Utilize MS Office programs to complete reports and documentation.
- Complete warehouse floor walks to ensure labeling/loading is being completed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to complete day to day activities in allotted amount of time.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand and move about facility for extended periods of time, frequently bend, twist, and lift above the head.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm
Pay rate: $17-24 hr depending on exp.
