NOW HIRING FOR SHIPPING SUPERVISOR FOR LOCAL MANUFACTURING COMPANY.

FULL TIME TEMP TO HIRE POSITION

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for:
      • Coordinating with shipping companies, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of products.
      • Ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
      • Monitoring budgets and maintaining accurate shipping documentation.
      • Scheduling shipments, overseeing loading and unloading of trucks, and verifying shipping documents.
      • Experience with shipping software is a plus
      • Managing and training staff, ensuring safety compliance, and providing customer service support. 
         
         
         
         
         

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping and logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, such as bills of lading and customs forms
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organization skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good supervisory and coordinating abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an orderly manner
