Job Title: Yard Supervisor Flooring Mill

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, manage, and coordinate activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products in a flooring mill yard 
• Buy yard experience - lumber load tracking and stacking
• Organize and prioritize work schedules to meet operational needs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Train and mentor yard staff
• Inspect inventory and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments
• Dry Kiln Experience 
• Lumber Grading Background

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a supervisory role in a similar environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve effectively
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus

• Health and safety certification preferred
